A short while ago my friend Forrest Chess asked me to paint a drum head for the band The Indobox which he manages. "I'll do it!" I said. And then, I did it. You should check them out cause they're pretty sweet. Click Here.
Anyways, here are the progress shots from that project.
Sketchbookin' it. Had many good ideas, but only one drum head. So I opted for something flashy but still punchy. I also designed the drum to look different under different colored lights, cause I know there's different colored lights on stages, and cause I'm real smart and cause I've seen live music before.
